Okay, If you make two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and you cut one of them diagonally to make triangles and you cut the other one in half to make rectangles which one will taste better. (now you are using the same amount of peanut butter and the same amount of jelly on both of them).
MY FRIEND JAMES MONZA SAYS THE RECTANGLED ONE WILL TASTE BETTER.
WHAT DO YOU THINK????????
I personally think james has lost his marbles on this one....
no i haven't go try it u watch it will taste different and the rectangled one will taste better
I think the triangle one will taste better.
Definitely the rectangle. It has to do with the jelly soaking into the bread faster when it's cut triangularly, not to mention it just looks more appealing to me when it's rectangular. Yes I know I'm weird haha.
don't cut it. otherwise the jelly oozes out everywhere. unless you are at the white house, eat it whole.
um, would think it would taste the same either way. i usually cut my into triangles.
well, for starters I am allergic to peanut butter
so please leave it off my sandwich *smiles
AND
I really really am so taken with raspberry jelly
so I hope that is the kind that is being used
AND
did someone say triangular cut tastes better
than rectangular??
Well, personally I think sandwiches tastes better
if cut not only triangular once
but Twice!!
Yes, from each corner to opposite corner.
Like them four little itty bitty tiny triangles.
also I suppose it depends on the type of bread is
being used...
I prefer deli rye and to have it toasted... please :)
Note to Doug: I think maybe I found the marbles
that James seemed to have lost
AND
then went and lost them again!!
One may taste different, but taste is entirely subjective. Chemically / materially they are the same.
An addition to Turricane's recommendation: Grill it instead of cut it. Just like you do a grilled cheese. Used to make 'em for my daughter that way. Just don't goop it with too much jelly to start with and butter the outside.
Peanut butter and jelly is an equally repugnant combination of sandwich filling irrespective of the way the sandwich is cut. That's all I have to say on this topic. :p.
Dan.
I think James has just watched his Yankees get beat by the Rays too much, and it's affecting his taste. But if itt's crunchy peanut butter, and home made strawberry jelly, it doesn't matter how it's cut, in fact, fack the cutting, it's just a longer time between the making and the eating, lol.
oh kk i never thought about when i cut my sandwitch in a different shape actually makes a different way for it tasting. maybe i will go try next time when i make one :-)
lol...yall are funny, but personally I've always like the sanwich cut into four triangles...with crunchy peanut butter and strawberry jam
I think the rectangle one would taste better.
And usually, I cut my ham sandwiches into triangles and peanut butter ones into rectangles, lol.
you all r ocd...lol just kidding
my stepmother spoiled me. She'd always cut the crusts off, and then cut the sandwich in to four little squares. This was when I was about 6 years old, but it's just one of those random extra efforts that I never forgot. i'm lazy. When I make the sandwich, I put it all on one slice of bread and then fold it over.
that ain't no sandwich anthony.
I usually just eat it whole. Haha.
Yes a good plump sandwich folded over is real good. Triangles seem to taste better because there are only 2 sides of crust on each half. On a food show they showed an Italian sandwich made with strawberry jelly and chocolate frosting. It is pretty good.
MMM. I love the crust on freshly baked bread, no matter what's inside it. I agree with those who say just not cutting it at all is best.
I can't stand peanutbutter anything, and much less peanutbutter and jelly not saying jellly I like any better, but they would taste the same. I usually cut my sandwiches if at all in to triangles too! more traditional.
